How will Aon handle my personal details?

Insurance has been purchased at Aon by either your Educational Institution or by you individually. Aon is one of the largest insurance brokers in the world.

To validate this contract we have registered your personal details, such as date of birth and address, which are provided to us by your University or by yourself.

An overview of your personal details in our system is enclosed for your information.

These details will be used if we have to contact you concerning payment of premium or declaration of claims. Any correspondence between Aon and its clients is based on our administrative records in which we have registered all your data.

We grant access to your file to third parties like health care providers or alarm centers provided the institution can prove you are a patient / client of them. The health care provider or alarm center will want to send their invoices directly to Aon, which is the main reason for them to check if you have insurance with us.

Finally, we provide information to the insurers who carry the risk of your ICS package. Given the fact that these insurers reimburse your claims and collect the premium, they are allowed access to your personal file.
